4. Enjoy the Outdoors – Green grass, trees and blue water combined with wildlife is a great atmosphere to spend 4 hours playing golf. Every day is different and every golf course is different. It is also fun to play in different parts of the country or even the world and enjoy the different sceneries.
5. Exercise – Many non-golfers do not view golf is exercise but golf uses the entire body. Some benefits from golf as an exercise include improved circulation to improved flexibility. Arthritis can be helped because golf loosens stiff joints. Golfers also experience better sleep, increased strength, eye-hand coordination and range of motion. Golf is also good for weight control. AND Golfers do live longer.
6. Competition – There are many ways to compete. You can compete with yourself, the course, your friends or family. You can also compete in tournaments. Fun tournaments such as charity or club events or in more competitive tournaments such as Club Championships or even Statewide events. You don’t even have to compete at all.
