Senior Men’s League 

FORMAT:

Modified Stableford will be the format for this year’s league. See the attached sheet for explanation of scoring and point system. The minimum points allowed are 6. Adjustments to points will be made weekly.

Pay offs are determined weekly by number of participants using a formatted chart. The weekly entry fee is $5.00. Closest to the pin is played weekly using two par threes, alternating one on the front nine and one on the back nine each week. (Optional) In order to participate in the Closest to the Pin, an additional $1.00 entry fee is collected at the time of registration. Winners split the fees collected.

 Note: Weekly $10.00 is put in the Final Tournament Round scheduled for October 25th

RULE: 

The Annual Membership Fee to join the Senior Men’s League is $5.00. This is collected on the first day that you participate with the League. This fee is contributed to the Final Tournament Round. 

League play starts Tuesday April 6th at 8:30 a.m. through Tuesday October 18th.  

The Final Tournament Round will be held on October 25th. No additional entry fees collected. Pay offs will be determined by the number qualified to play and the money collected during the season. 

To qualify to play in the Final Round you must have participated in at least ten weekly rounds.

 USGA rules govern play and the follow local rules:

 Winter rules are in effect. You may roll your ball in your own fairway within one club length. 

If the power line on #9 is hit you must replay the shot with no penalty. 

Putt out (no gimmies) or pick up after handicap limit. 

Weekly scores should continue to be posted in the handicap computer system. These should be adjusted by the Equitable Stroke Control system. You do not post this as a tournament round.

Numbers drawn from the cup will determine the weekly pairings. Only special circumstances will allow for special arrangements for the first tee.

            Weekly Points Adjustments

+2 or more - ½ of plus added  (example +4 = 2 added next week)

New Player (not on the points needed list) must start at handicap from 40 (not 36). Since the group as a whole is playing an average of 4.72 above their handicaps for points needed.
