The Jr. clinic meets once a week on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM for 5 weeks. The sessions will last about 1-1½ hours. The objective of this program is to introduce juniors to the game and give them the basic tools to grow with golf and enjoy themselves.

The cost: $30.00

            Eligibility:  Boys and Girls 7 years – 17 years old

            Starting Date:             Thursday June 19, 2025

            Ending Date:               Thursday July 24, 2025

            9 Hole Playing day:     Wednesday July 30^th (Time TBA*)

            Location:                     Quinton Oaks Golf Course

            Clinic Time:               9:00 AM – 10:30 AM (July 30^th* TBA)

            Fee:                             $30.00 per golfer 

The junior golf program includes five weeks of instruction on the golf fundamentals; rules, etiquette plus a nine hole round of golf on July 30^th. You will also receive a beginner’s rulebook and handouts to go along with your lessons. Practicing between lessons is essential to learning the golf swing so also included in the junior golf clinic is a discount of ½ price on range balls. The normal price is $2.50 for small and $4.00 for large. You are always welcome to use the practice putting green at no fee.  

Quinton Oaks is offering juniors free golf after 5:00 PM seven days a week when accompanied by an adult also playing golf. Green fees are half price to junior golfers everyday, after 1:00 pm on weekends & holidays. 

* If there is a large class we will split them up. The younger kids will be at 9:00 am and the older kids will be at 10:30 am.

Tournaments

The 16^th annual Jr. Tournament will be held at Quinton Oaks Monday July 28^th at 12:00.

The 3rd annual Jr. Tournament will be held at Queenfield Plantation Wednesday July 23^rd at 12:00.  The cost is $10.00 for each tournament.

Hot dogs and soft drinks will be served at 11:15 AM. Trophies will be awarded after play.

Age groups are as follows:

                                                10 and under:             Play 6 holes from shortened tees

                                                11 – 14                        Play 9 holes from the white tees

                                                15 – 17                        Play 18 holes from the white tees
