2004 Buick Scramble

The 2004 Buick Scramble was a huge success once again, hosted by Quinton Oaks Golf Course in Callao on Saturday July 10, 2004. T.D. McGinnes Chevrolet/Buick in Kilmarnock sponsored the event by providing lunch, refreshments on the course, one dozen of Nike MOJO Golf balls for each participant, prizes for Closest to the Pin/Longest Drive and 1^st – 4^th place winners and a hole in one chance for a Buick Rendezvous. 

Twelve teams of four played the Buick Scramble Captain Choice format. A team chip off competition determined a tie for first play with a net score of 54. The winning team members were Sam Fisher, Jr., Jeff White, Gary and Lori Giberson. These team members will play with Quinton Oaks PGA Professional Dean Sumner at the Sectional Tournament as a five-man team at Royal New Kent in Williamsburg, VA on August 12, 2004. If this team is successful they will play in the National Tournament at Orlando Florida in October.

    3^rd Place          Ronnie Davis, Wesley Bradshaw, Hervey Smith and Ronnie Bray

    4^th Place          Richard Conley, Sr., Tom Cernicky, Frank Klein and Ross Sumner

                    Stuart O’Bier, Curtis O’Bier, Nathaniel O’Bier and Allen Garland  

Closest to the pin was won Darlene Bean and Gary Hodges won Longest Drive.
